Our Staff and Leadership
Pastor: Stephen Stanford
Stephen was called to be pastor of Forest Hills Baptist in 2015. His ministry mission statement is from Colossians 1:28, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” He has a passion for getting people to study the bible and to know Christ. He is also passionate about missions. "That all may know him, the one true God."
Stephen double majored in Philosophy and History receiving a Bachelors of Arts degree from Texas State University. He went on to get a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.
While in college Stephen met his wife Kymberly while working for Lifeway Christian Bookstore. They have been married for 13 years. They have five children and he enjoys spending time with his sons Malachi, Isaiah, Judah, Benjamin and Danny.
Stephen enjoys reading, weight lifting, being outdoors in nature and watching sports.
Deacon: David Sowell
David Sowell serves as FHBC's Deacon and the Chairman of the Administrative Leadership of the church.
Children's Ministry Coordinator: Judy Dreggors
Judy has a passion to see young children know and love God. She lovingly explains the Gospel in easy, understandable lessons for the children.
Roots Director, Children's Ministry: Pamila McDaniel
Pamela started attending FHBC in 2019. She started the Rooted program for children ages 5-12. She wants to see all children be Rooted in Christ.
Women's Ministry Coordinator: Linda Sowell
Linda has been apart of FHBC for many years. She has a desire for the women to know God and enjoy fellowship with Him. Linda leads two studies a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
Interim Music Director: Bob Stanford
Bob has been apart of FHBC since 2018. He has graciously stepped in as our Interim Music Director. Bob has led music in different churches across Texas, in addition to being senior pastor for over 30 years at various churches. He loves to see people have a genuine worship experience with the Lord.
